MacBook lid skin

A precision-cut vinyl skin for the lid of your MacBook. Full coverage, edge to edge, with a 2 mm margin inside the edge on all sides so nothing catches or lifts when the lid opens and closes. The skin covers the entire lid surface, including the Apple logo. If you'd rather keep the logo visible, this isn't the product for you.

Find your size

Sizes in the dropdown are the actual dimensions of the skin in millimetres (width x height). To find yours, turn your MacBook over and read the small text along the bottom edge of the underside - you're looking for a code beginning with "A", like A2681. Match it below:

• Lid only - one piece, covering the top surface of the closed lid
• Cut 2 mm inside the edge on all sides - sits flush, no overhang, nothing to peel from the corners
• Rounded corners matched to your model - follows the shape of the lid, not a rectangle over it
• Covers the Apple logo - no cutout
• Ultra-thin vinyl - adds no measurable thickness, so the lid still closes flush and fits any sleeve or bag
• Air-release adhesive - reposition it while you apply, and push bubbles out instead of trapping them
• Removable - lifts off cleanly without residue, so you can change the design or return the machine to standard
• Scratch- and scuff-resistant finish - takes the daily wear that would otherwise land on the aluminium

How to apply

1. Close the lid and clean the surface - wipe it down, let it dry fully, and lift off any dust with tape or a lint-free cloth.
2. Peel back a few centimetres of the backing and line the top edge up with the lid, leaving an even margin on both sides. Don't press down until it's straight.
3. Press the top edge down, then pull the backing away gradually while smoothing outward from the centre with your thumb or a cloth.
4. Any small bubbles left over will work out to the nearest edge with light pressure.
